First of all, to all the people I offended not to long ago with my insensitive comments about the lgbtq community, I am sorry. I'm not here to justify myself, simply to explain why I was so horrendously wrong. I am a religious person. I've always believed in God. When someone like me is surrounded by people who are religious and also homophobic, they tend to doubt what they believe. I thought I understood everything, I thought I was constantly right, and I thought being gay was wrong. But these people blinded me to the truth; my religion is one of love. Jesus says that the word can be corrupted by false teaching, and you will know the good from bad buy its fruit. Homophobia produces bad fruit. It destroys lives. And yet, being gay doesn't produce bad fruit. Unlike all other sins, there is no motive behind it. no reason for it to be wrong. I spent a while trying to understand this, switching sides, defying my own emotion for religion. Until it hit me that it doesn't make sense for it to be wrong. So I'm
