I don't want to hurt you by saying this..it's there for a reason, airbags in cars can be deadly, especially on younger children. as well height, if your feet touch completely down in the front seat then yes you can sit in it. It's for a safety reason.

And one last thing, if you need to gain weight, try eating just a little bit more, i actually dropped in weight when i was badly sick one time, i gained it back so yeah..
