Tears streaming down her face, she eagerly checked the time. She looked at it as if the phone was Medusa. Only looking momentarily, it was 7:28. He wasn't coming. Maybe he was late, she tried retaliating to her thought that he had left. But she was sure that he wasn't coming. She started to mope home and then as it started to rain. Like the clouds were crying with her. Thanks guys, she thought to the clouds. She always came prepared so she had an umbrella. She pulled it out and let her hand out to feel the clouds tears. If only the clouds could use the water to wipe away her tears. He wasn't coming for sure.
