That was back when this was actually a website that was used for its sole purpose, animation. Now, people just draw stuff and animate poorly, rather than draw poorly and animate well. Of course, there are some people that do both well.

True, that's the only reason why I came here XD but then all of a sudden I've been drawing instead of actually animating I've been working on a fight animation for a month and I've hated how it turned out So that's why I haven't been animating as much as I do
