LinkIt was a video about cutting down invasive trees and how people were mad at them doing it. One of the comments said how it gets worse with invasive animals with peoples reactions. It might be sad that a cute animal dies but it is better in the long run since they are literally not supposed to be in the environment they're being invasive in.

LinkA big invasive animal is cats but no one wants to kill them because they're so cute even though wild housecats kill and **** so often that there's so many it's out of control.

LinkA good example of an invasive species is the european rabbit, whos numbers had grown so large that they had destroyed crops and land which led to soil erosion. Not to mention that these rabbits have caused the extinction of several small ground dwelling mammals. They've contributed to a lot of the decline of the native plants and animals.
