Okay, so basically if you happened to use the highlighter or paint tool in this drawing- and if it was the small medium size, it will show up with lines. The reason it's happening on old files is because well-they're old files. It's nothing that can be fixed for old files. I'm pretty sure the reason it's happening to old files is also because the more recent tools have been updated in some form or capacity.
it's happening in my new files as well tho- even while I'm drawing them. (I do appreciate your input however, genuinely.)
