BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE. this story is meant to be told by Mr. Compress, hes writing this as he is being and when he is finally 'reformed', no more villain compress for you, only fun uncle vibes! so many titles in this story are inspired by the views he has on said people, ie. denki being an important role because denki and compress work together in the onmitsu au. well start chronologically. so his story takes place 17 years before the real story of everyone begins. his story is a sequel/prequel to the tale of midoriyas band defeating the demons and 'great evil' caused by the 'villains' and what not. we take place starting with his childhood. hawks was raised by a village of inbred magical people, his parents were unknown as of now (the story is still being crafted), i assume they died? needless to say hes an orphan.

when hawks was born he faced many challenges, for one, he was taken care of by many people, considering the band of inbred magic persons all were good friends with his parents, they werent the most honest. without magic himself he was taught to use the elements and use spirits to guide him into controlling the world around him. he was a prodigy with this art at a very young age. yet as he grew, he learned these peoples intentions and decided they couldnt teach him all he wanted, so with a thirst for knowledge, he left, deciding to take a new path with his power. as he grew he began helping people, taking from those he saw fit, and awarding those he chose. not all he stole was in good favour, however. hed also take for benefit of himself, magical artifacts, legendary scrolls. all he could use in hope to strengthen his power. around the time he was twelve he stole the wrong thing, however, which led him to being cursed by the owner of the artifact.

his curse caused him to grow wings of crimson, ones to cast him away from society, and be mistreated by all he crossed. he was no longer the name people watched, but the name they laughed at and cursed. he was found soon after he was cursed and was thrown into a dungeon, to rot as the freak he was claimed to be that winter he was left, cold and defenseless, or so he thought. you see, the kingdom he lived was under rule of the newly titled enji, and king with no name, and hardly any respect. he search through the dungeons to clean them out, whether that meant execution, freedom, or worse. this is where he found keigo. and winged child with a fire in his eyes. once he learned of his magic he took him in, feeding his desires and granting him access to knowledge he craved. he grew stronger, becoming more of a prodigy. within three years of imployment he helped raise the kingdom to glory, wining wars, striking fear, all in assist of the king enji, his ruthlessness dubbed him 'endeavor, a ruler who prevailed'.

all because of the child he took in from chains. keigo grew in the castle, becoming friends with the princes and princess. the princess in particular took a fondness to him and his hope for teachings, they worked together, learning off one anothers expertises, keigo teaching her combat and a quick tongue, fuyumi teaching him spirit rituals and magical combinations to help him improve in her fathers eyes. the prince natsuo never found a liking of him, endeavor treated keigo with admiration and respect, a 'golden child' as natsuo grew to call him, jealous of the child's wining name in their family. he was treated more royal than any of the other children he really had. keigo was resented by him because of this. keigo lived a while in the castle, helping aid in the raising of shoto, while balancing his power and giving endeavor all he requested in hope to atone for the freedom the king had gifted him.

and because of this the king grew more and more greedy, his power corrupting his original intentions and his hate becoming his motive. and so the longer time wore on, the longer hawks strained to aid his caretaker. there was a fourth child he knew little about. his name was toya. he was the eldest and the next in line for the the thrown, and at one point they met. toya was skilled in 'fools magic', obbsessed with certain parchments that once tossed illuminated fake fire, its bright blue fascinated keigo, and they began to speak fondly of one another. toya enchanting him with his fools magic, and keigo showing him the kindness he didnt get from anyone else. just as his father, toyas corruption was planted and as weeks wore on his true colours glew in the blue fire, he explained that the castle was holding both him and keigo back. and that if keigo wanted the knowledge and power he truely desired, if he wanted to know it all, he had to leave and learn it himself.

he explained they were both sheltered by the stone walls. when keigo called him crazy, toya grew with disdain, telling him that he was still leaving, and one night he did. he left, and everyone claimed him dead, even keigo believing his frailness wouldnt last in the cruel, monterous walls beyond the both of them. his crown was left behind, and in honor keigo hid it so no one would find it. in a sealed cabinet in the fallen prince's tower, the door was then locked. and his name was no longer spoken. and although he disagreed, what the fallen prince said rested inside keigo's mind, a seed of greed grew. and his craving for more led him to grow bored of what he did from there on. at some point he realized toya might have been right. and finding he could never truly repay endeavors kindness, he took in an apprentice, hoping to train him to enough standards to where he, himself, could leave in his search for 'more', whatever 'more' was back then.

for over seven years he trained this child, he was neito monoma, and on the eave of the eight night keigo disappeared, leaving no notice but a single flower he placed in a vase on the foot of the princess' door in tribute. its said the prodigy may have fought with the king of his leaving, some say there was no warning. but no one truly knew. he was 26 when he disappeared, having served 14 years under king endeavor in the castle. his name was still whispered as time wore on, people claimed he helped with his craft and his arcane was that no one ever knew of.. fuyumi worried for him, her friend was gone, and she only prayed hed one day returned. as the next three years passed many things happened, the main storyline, endeavor was over thrown by the people, and after natsuo and shotos refusal, fuyumi was crowned queen. and that only was to bring worry for the castle trying to find her a suitor she realized her power and honest rule was at stake.

so she believed the only hope she had at changing a corrupt system was to find the only man who payed her real respect, keigo. the present story that focusses on him takes place after those three years. hawks is 29 and sought after by queen todoroki for his help at changing everything that has aged with the kingdom. he lives in the enchanted mountain, resting in the wall of the two peaks on the mountain. currently he has convinced her of a plan to help, meanwhile plotting to free endeavor from the dungeon as well, letting him escape in a final hope to clear his guilt from his mind.
