ooooh lets do the forest, but the forest has a trail that leads into the mountains with the waterfalls

ok! ^^

Scotch sat beside a clear blue lake, grooming himself. He cleaned out the dirt and mud, from earlier play. He jumped into it with a large splash, loosening the stuck on areas. He swam around a bit.

He jumped back out of the lake, shaking off his coat and continuing to groom. The rest of the mud and dirt came off, his fur becoming its beautiful and shimmering color again. His star shaped pupils focused on the ground.

He messed with a few chipped off pieces from the mountain side, tossing them around and looking down to the forest, hearing the branches snapping. His ears perked up and his fur raised a bit.

He stood up nervously, walking off to a small hole in the side of the mountain. He was on top, but in an area where it kept getting higher and higher. It was a small amount of flat ground. He crawled into his mountain home and crouched in the back, watching the entrance to see if anything would pass by.

A few sounds came from the small entrance, like the crackle of the firepit inside. Small amounts of smoke came out as well from the fire. He hid behind a rock inside.

His fur raised more, and he got lower to the floor, afraid. He said nothing in return, just frozen in fear. His ears flattened to his head.

His tail tucked between his legs, and he basically laid down. He tensed up, getting ready to run out of his den and into the forest. He stayed where he was, whimpering a bit.

He stayed where he was, afraid to move or come out. His star shaped pupils shrunk, as he curled up.

He thought for a moment, he smelled the berries. He did feel hungry, but also afraid. He stood up and slowly walked out, his head poking out of the entrance. His black and white striped ears were still flat to his head as he looked at her.

He walked over and sat down, carefully taking a banana and peeling it by holding it down with a paw and taking the skin off with his teeth, and then taking a big bite out of it. He avoided looking at her even though he found her beautiful.

"Scotch," He said quietly, looking down as he finished up his fruit. He put his head down, his golden eyes and star pupils shining. He raised his ears a bit, and glanced up at her with a nervous smile.

He smiled a bit wider, "thanks. Nice to meet you, Jade." His voice remained quiet as he watched her, quietly admiring her looks.

His ears perked up, and he hushed himself. "Hear what?"

He helped her put it out, and he scrambled inside. He put his own fire out and he ran back to her, "let's go higher up the mountain, I know an area where we can hide." (oooh!!!)

He began to sprint off, ascending the trail. He kicked up dirt and small pebbles as he ran, making sure to run lightly to not leave pawprints. He approached a waterfall, the loud rushing waters drowning out the sounds of the hooves. He ducked under the waterfall and into a cave, pressing his paw hardly onto the stone side. Part of the stone wall went down, and he went inside. There were lanterns hung on the ceiling for light, and the door shut behind them, looking like a normal wall again.

"Why are they after you, if you don't mind me asking?" He whispered lowly so that they couldn't hear him, and he tilted his head at her.

(yeah!)

He looked at her with horror, "I'm so sorry about your village.. but we need to move quickly, this place may be secret but it's not safe." He quickly went to the other side, putting his paw on the wall again. It opened, leading to the back end of the waterfall. He lead her through the waters and back down the mountain to the forests, he had many dens he called home. He walked towards a hole in the ground and crawled in, through a spacious tunnel and back to flat ground. He grabbed some grass and foliage, covering the hole in the ground to help it be unobvious. He sighed, "hopefully we'll be safe here for a while."

"Why not?" He tilted his head at her as he settled into a moss bed in the corner, placing his head down on his paws.

(damn) He got a bit uncomfortable, "he can?" He tensed up, "what if we kill him?"

"We'll have to lose his companions first, and when they're gone we can kill him." He looked down.

He groaned a bit, "of course.." He looked at his long, fluffy fur. "And I'm super flammable." He sighed, "we'll have to get his lighter or blades somehow before he gets to light them on fire."

He heard Flint and he quickly got up, his fur raising and he tensed up, ready to fight. He unsheathed his claws and bared his teeth, watching to see if Flint would come inside or not.

He nodded, and he came out after her. He snarled at Flint, his tail swaying angrily. He looked at Flint's lighter, watching it carefully to know when to jump and smack it out of his hand.

He quickly jumped away from the fire, before tackling Flint. He held him down while he started to grab at his lighter, pulling it away from his grasp. He threw it off to the side where it wasn't visible anymore, the fire burning his tail. He yelped and jumped to the unlit ground, suffocating the flame that burnt up the fur on the tip of his tail.

He growled lowly, grabbing Flint by the back leg and bringing him to the ground, making him let go of one of his blades. He dragged him back a bit, biting hardly and shaking his leg to make it harder for him to move. He grabbed his other blade that had fallen from his grasp and held it tightly in his paw, the heat making him want to let go but he didn't. His pawpads slightly burned, making him wince.

He shrieked, jumping into the fire after Jade. His fur quickly picked up flame, and he pulled her out, his eyes tearing up after he tossed her out of the fire. He rolled on the ground to make the fire on himself go out, his fur burnt up and large patches of it missing. He didn't know she was immune to flame.

He shook his head, wiping his eyes. "I should've known.." He smiled a little. "Well.." He picked up his leg, the fur completely burned off of it. "It'll grow back soon."

(aww)

He blushed a bit and he giggled nervously, looking to the side. "Don't worry, I will." He nuzzled her a bit to make her get up, his face still hot from blushing and being in the fire.

He giggled a bit, "in every way possible, he does." He sighed, lowering his ears, a bit upset about his fur being burnt off. He shook his head, at least his skin didn't get too burnt.

He enjoyed the water being dumped on him, and he sat back down. He had a small and light wheeze from breathing in so much smoke in the short period of time, but it'd go away soon. He just needed a moment to regain himself, closing his eyes.

He opened his eyes and picked his head up, his cheek fluff gone, he looked strange without it. "Alright." He got up slowly, trying not to hurt his sensitive burns. (ok ^^)

He walked slowly behind her, a bit tired. "That's fine, just as long as we ge there, heh." He giggled a bit, trying to pick up his pace.

He quickly picked it up in his mouth, then in his paw. He took a big bite out of it, regaining a bit of energy. He sighed, "climbing?" He whined, he was never good at climbing.

He quickly finished his apple, tossing the core away to decompose and grow a new apple tree. He hurried up a bit, his trot turning into a run.

His burnt paws began to hurt again after running for a few minutes, and he slowed down again, just wanting to fall over and go to sleep. He noticed the sky darken as night approached.

He didn't hear what she said about her dad, and he stopped at the bottom as well. He looked up at it, "It's huge." He looked up at the door.

He grabbed her hand, sticking his back claws into the bark of the tree. He hopped up beside her, trying to be careful where he placed himself.

He followed her to the door, "thanks." (Aww poor Jade D:)

He walked in behind her, seeing the picture. "Is that your family?" He looked at it, and then to the rest of the house. He sat down on her bed, his eyes focusing on the wood floor.

He frowned, and he walked over to her. He pulled her close and hugged her tightly, his ears lowering in sympathy. "I'm so sorry, Jade.."

He let her sleep, laying down with her still in his arms. He closed his eyes, petting her mane calmly as she slept. He slowly drifted off as well.

His eyes snapped open, and he struggled to get away. He noticed she was still asleep, and he grabbed her paws and took them off of his throat.

He sighed and wrapped his arms around her to where she couldn't move her arms, and he put his head against her's. He closed his eyes again, huffing.

He opened his eyes sleepily, and he quickly pulled his arms back. "Oh, sorry." He smiled a bit and blushed.

He waved at her as she left, but he stayed in bed to catch more rest. He closed his eyes again, curling up under the warm teal blanket. With his fur missing he was much colder than usual. He fell asleep again, dreaming about home.

(Kind of, I'll probably make a post about it later :D) He snored softly, his head hidden under the blanket, his muzzle the only thing sticking out.

He woke up to the sound of her voice, sitting up. He kept the blanket around himself, "always, heh." He giggled and looked at the food, his furless tail wagging under the blanket.

He took a couple and popped them into his mouth, the juice sweet. He took a few more and left the rest for Jade, "yeah." He took a squirrel and ate it, no longer feeling too hungry. (I'm really tired so I think I'm gonna take a nap,, gn! Maybe we'll continue in 3 hours?)
