Pick yourself a reference (google images) and try to paint it :)

Take an image, try to draw it
If it looks shit, it's fine
come again tommorrow, try again for a few minutes.. maybe it hurts. I know that pain very well. The one secret is, not to give in, not to give up.
If you can e.g. do this every other day for one month, you will be so good in 30 days you would not believe now.
Go a step further, do it for another month, you will get better and better
