how about this:
Roku and some friends go to the beach. (( you choose the characters you want )) when Distill is on his ledge and rocky pillar when he roars at them for crossing his land

Roku: *she laughed as she placed her stuff on the sand*
Rose: Come on Roku! Get in the water!
Japura: *she smiled*
Distill was sunbathing on the rocks, enjoying the warmth. He hadn't smelled or heard them yet.
Rose: *she jumped in the water Laughing spraying Japura*
Japura: EEK!! Oi! Your gonna regret it!! *she splashed back Laughing*
Roku: *she smiled as she ran over to them splashing both of them*
Rose: *she smiled and swam away* Ok! Don't get me!
Japura: *she laughed and swam after her* Come back here!
Roku: *she sighed smileing more* Come back you two!!
He growled softly, getting up. He spread his wings as wide as they could, roaring loudly.
Rose: Uh...who's that!?
Japura:? who? *she looked at him*! o-oh!
Roku: *she stared at him shocked a bit*
Rose: eek!! *she ran and hugged Japura*
Japura: *hugged back*
Roku: *she ran to them and protect them*
He flew in front of Roku, growling. His spikes twitched, meaning he was going to strike at any second.
Rose: W-What do you w-want!?
Japura: *whimpers*
Roku: *she got her claws ready to attack him before he can even try*
He roared again in her face, a bit of acid getting sprayed at her.
(( convince him who's boss. intimidate him. ))
Rose: *she trembled*
Japura:!! Roku!! are you ok!?
Roku: *she growled a bit* Touch my friends and you will die!
He spat more acid at Roku.
-the acid just smelled intoxicating, so I'd suggest getting away from it-
Rose: *she walked backwords with Japura*
Roku: *she step forward* Leave! We leave no harm!
He lashed his tail and roared again, grabbing Roku by the sides. He held her in his jaws and swung her around.
Rose: Roku!!!!
Japura: Roku let me help y-
Roku: NO!! Stay a-away!! *she scrached him on the eye*
He yelped and dropped Roku, holding his eye. He huffed and grabbed her again, hissing angrily and ready to chomp her head off.

you travel back in time
and adopt BD
to see how he acted as a kid ))

Roku: *she kicked him in his erea then bites his leg making him ared to walk* RUN!
Rose: What about you!?
Japura: *she grabbed Rose and started to run* Be safe ROKU!!!

He roared again, slamming Roku down.

Roku: *she got up from the water and Ran over scratching his wing and his eye that she scratched before but deeper*

Roku: *she walked over and grabed her stuff to patch wounds up and walked over wrapping his wounds*
Roku: *she finished patching him up and sat down wating for an answer* so...why did you attack me and my friends?
Japura:...*she sat down by Rose And Roku*

He shook his head and got up, stretching. He curled around Roku.
