see i aint read much personally this character though he's from my own universe
he is the jealous type
he see pretty man he stare at pretty man he sing to pretty man he jump out of water to touch the pretty man suddenly its his pretty man and he get angy if theres anyone else its a very simple process
its amazing that he likes such a chill guy who drinks out of coconut shells
Yknow when you say it like that its even creepier sounds like the lil bug eyed shit that goes ‘my preciousss’
But i just imagined him hanging onto sebastians like >:( and now its not creepy
I just imagined him doing that staring, singing, and jumping thing you said and how i imagined it combined with sebastians reactions were hilarious
suddenly, weird fish man you dont know peaks at you from the water
he does nothing but stare
sometimes he sings to get your attention
but then one day he legit crawls out of the water to reach you
Seb says curiosity and slightly confusion then when they get out he’s surprised and alarmed when they legit are suffocating from no water so he picks them back up and brings them back into the water but goes In with them

"Why did you go on land like that, you look like you have gills?"
He'd grab onto one of his arms and hum, then giggle.
"It's hard just watchin' I had to make a movee you wouldn't understand."
"Maybe not, you seem very different from I afterall."
"And do you mean a move to land?" He assumes they've been watching any of those that happen to walk across this side of the Island.
"Well..." He giggles, again. "Yes and no."
"I've been watching you for a while."
He's been holding him mostly submerged into the water for a while now, so he lets go.
"..Really now? ..Why?"
"Well, I don't know actually."
"I do know I started to enjoy it when I saw your face."

Smiles.
"Is that why you tried going onto the beach?"
"Yes sir."
"Wanted a closer look."
"Though, I didn't expect it to be this close."
This time he chuckles.
"You could have just called me over, I would have sat on the beach to talk."
"Indeed."
"I'll do that, actually."
He backs up out of the water and plops down onto the sand.
"What's your name?"
"My name issss Mikael, thank you for asking."
"And what about you, you have a name?"
"Well at least I know your name, how many more steps till I kiss you"
"Ahahaha, that's a joke"
Raises both eyebrows, but chuckles when he says it's a joke.
"Well you would have to get to know me much more first." Smiles again, joking but also serious.
He turns upside down in the water, his head peeking from the surface ofc.
"And how long would that take?"
"Not like I really care to know."
"Depends on how much you talk to me."
"Could take a few weeks to a few months"
I mean he's not wrong.
"Sooner the better, I'll talk to you as much as I feel I can."
"You sure I shouldn't suffocate though it wouldn't take longg"
"It's not harmmm it's how it workss-"
"But you wouldn't know that you're not from where I'm from..."

"I was told I can I don't think I've ever done it but I know people who have."

"But if it's not true, and it doesn't work, you could die. Wouldn't want anyone dying."

Studies for a few moments.
"..Theoretically, if you can "change forms"- which I assume means becoming a human because you seem like some sort of merperson, which i've heard about in stories before of course-..Do you think you would still be able to do so if there's water on your gills?"
"Quite possibly."
"it means the gills will stay as long as there's water but I can still breathe oxygen when I change."
"At least I think so."
"I suggest we try that then. I'm guessing you only breathe salt water?"
"Never swam in fresh, so most likely."
"I hear creatures kind of like us can though."
"Okay, I'll be back then."
He gets up and walks back across the beach, disappearing into the trees.
"Hmph."
"Grhhgh why does that matter thoughh I'll be finee..."
Hides in the water, so only his eyes and everything above them is shown.
Eventually he returns, carrying a medium sized barrel in his arms.
He just stares at him, waiting until he gets close enough.
"What's that for?"
He says, peaking more from the water.
“I’m going to fill it with salt water and bring it back to my house, think it would work?”
“Okay, well”
He takes the barrel and puts it into the water, filling it up. Then he backs up, lifts the entire thing, and walks off.
"Ah- jeez you're ho t,"
Shakes head.
"But you're being too kind,,,"
“Nonesense.” He says, before being too far away to hear and disappearing into the trees again.
He returns a few moments later.
“So the water is on land, but now we have to get /you/ on land as well.”
"Grrr."
"Dumb tail,,"
He hides in the water, once again only revealing his eyes and such.
Sad puppy dog eye moment.
“Which is why, of course, I was going to offer to carry you.”
“Would be much quicker, likely safer.”
He gets closer to the shore and hoists himself up- just a little as to not take his gills outta the water.
"Really??"
His eyes still the same though lol
"Would you really want to??"
"Can you, even?"
"You ever tried picking up a shark? I'm like the size of a shark. Maybe a bit smaller than one. Like a bull shark, or a hammerhead. Those are scary."
"I fought one once."

Ah yes, the perks of being a siren- they're a little scatterbrained.

"That sounds like quite the story, you should tell me about it."

"And i'm sure I could with enough determination."
"Well- shokay, I'm in for it if you are."
The end of his tail rises out of and then pops the surface of the water.
Then he crouches down and approaches, scooping them up and out of the water.
He turns around and makes his way across the beach, carrying him and walking at a fast pace.
After only going some ways into the woods he reaches his large, wooden home, and steps inside, finding his way into the bathroom and setting the merman down in the tub. The barrel lies next to it, and after making sure the tub's drain is down he picks it up and pours in half the water.
What I can assume is that whole walk, Mikael remains in a good mood simply by being carried.
By the guy he was "stalking" for a good while, too. Weak chuckles here and there.
Then he was set down and he almost reached out towards him until the water came in. Then he chuckled yet again, but it sounded more normal.
To be fair, he already started transforming, just a little. His skin slowly started to lose its extra white color.
Peers over the edge.
"My guess is that as long as you lie down with your neck beneath but your nose and tail above, you should start to breath air and develop legs."
"It is legs, right? You just said form, I assume human."
"Yes sir, it's human."
"According to the things I've read and the things I've heard, anyway."
"And that might work yeah."
He looks excited.
"I wouldn't want to convince you to do something this drastic if there were no way back should you change your mind."
"The decision to go back is drastic."
"I'd rather stay here, personally."
“Really? Not to sound rude or on the wrong foot, But I don’t know you very well, meaning you don’t know me very well. Why would you want to hang around?”
"Well- you look nice, you sound smart, you seem nice."
"Also you look at me with more curiosity than worry."
"And you gave me attention."
"Ohm also you carried me here that's an A+."
“But you don’t know me that well, what if I turned out to be a badguy?” He looks amused
"How can someone be a bad guy?"
"What even makes someone a bad guy??"
“I don’t really believe there are ‘bad guys’, but most people do.”
“In other words, what if I did an evil deed to you.”
That sounds wrong, don’t take it wrong
"Then I couldn't tell you what would happen..."
"Maybe I'd just be disappointed."
"So then you're not one of those kids who's mother said not to trust strangers?" He's playing, just a little
"Well, I was, but not like I care for what my mother says at all."
He chuckles.
"She's... demanding, and the reason I look like this instead of like my cousins who are all pretty with their nice teeth, gorgeous eyes, soft hair- some kinda genetics thing."

"They don't say it but it's like you can sense it, even if they don't really say or do anything bad towards you but you can feel the discomfort off them."

Looks him up and down to see if anythings changed much yet.
So far the white coloring is entirely gone (besides the freckles/spots,) and the tail had began splitting (as well as the extra fins are almost entirely gone, and the ears have rounded a bit.) (The tail splitting thing prolly doesn't look too nice, though. Gross if anything.)
"It might just be me assuming the worst though."
"They act like they support guys like me but guys like me don't see it, if that makes sense."
Tries not to be concerned with the appearance of the tail/leg process, it just looks painful is all
"Maybe so, but i'm not sure what you mean by 'guys like me'"
"I'm not a mermaid."
"I am, but I'm not. That's what I mean."

He grumbles a little.

Speaking of the teeth i’m guessing they also change thought it sounds hurtful
Technically they shouldn't since mermaid's teeth don't really.

I'm sure he'll figure something out, I mean they grew in sharp so he knows at least somewhat how to not hurt himself with them at least.
"I don't remember, he made me mad I guess."

“How are you feeling?” He’s not sure how this works and it interests him
"Tingly."
(Tbh now that I think about it there might be blood oop)
He stretches.
"Like that kinda tingly where you lie on your arm for a while and you just got off of it so the blood rushes back."
"Like it kinda hurts but also it's mostly just tingly."
“Hmm..”
Glances down again
“At least it’s not worse in pain than it might look..”
“I should get a towel of the clothing line.”
"Oh yeah, sure doesn't look flattering-"
"Oh, well, okay."
"If you do don't be gone long."

He smiles back, it's an awfully large smile at that.
