I have this event I'm gonna go to. One of my closest friends is gonna be a big brother so his mom is throwing a baby shower. Pronlem is, his mom is friends with the mother of someone I can't stand and thought I'd never talk to again. I mean, this girl was just awful. She was homophobic, almost got my friend expelled, racist, mean, etc. She just wasn't a good kid. I didn't ever want to have to see and speak to her again, but this is a one time thing. I mean, my friend's gonna have a sister, it's a big deal. I want to go but also don't. Any advice?
