while some eyes are huge most are small. the reason the eyes were huge was because when they first started anime to use it as an escape to be sexual with humans because of the time in china and japan much restriction to that as an order because of reproduction rates. They saw dumbo who had big ears ad an interest to make big eyes in their cartoons. and they also thought Americans had big eyes because theirs was smaller in comparison, some where high up but i just placed the mouth wherever, the following graphed items were placed randomly.
the big eyes were heavily used back then but now it is more of small and intimidating eyes to the viewers.
and they are much easier to catch angry emotions etc etc, meanwhile all the big eyes could much capture was woriedness or the sadness appeal to viewers.
That's the case in alot of newer animes but I do find some new ones with large eyes
It could be to make it cute now
And it could be just cause it is easier/ feels more normal like it was for me (and I still struggle with drawing smaller eyes. )
I noticed in your anime anim, me mouth was placed pretty normally!
There's plenty of anime pictures and shoes that the mouths go way too high up in
yeah I think the more traditional way is coming back because it was so famous in the first place and so much easier to draw and replicate like omggggg
yeah! At first it was pretty shocking but honestly I would understand why because they were turning communist and are communist.
Oh! Interesting fact about China and Japan:
Chinese people are very willing to give and help others. Japanese people are more proud and care much more about money than Chinese people.
Chinese people typically view Japanese people as arrogant and stuck up!
I found that out because my mom told me. She found out from talking to the doctor she works for who came from China and goes there regularly and Chinese culture is still a major part of his life.
