Leo was perched on a branch, preening his wings with his long fingers.

Leo let out a holler of surprise at the impact, abruptly stopping and taking to the skies to see what has disturbed his peaceful forest.

Ilyan hovered in the airspace above the newly made clearing, scanning the area with alarm.

Leo squawked in surprise when a form flew out of the rock that had fallen from the sky, his wings missing a beat.

(lmao yos) Leo soared above her, circling around her from the skies. He was curious and afraid, as this was a creature he had never seen nor heard of.

Leo swooped down to shadow her, trying to keep his wingbeats as silent as possible as to not alert the new creature he was there.

He would fly behind her or above her, the animals paying no attention to his antics.

yeah lol, there are, lots of them, as well as owls and berries and smaller critters such as squirrels and mice)) Leo silently landed on a branch, folding his large wings and tilting his head. He leaned forward on the branch.

Leo cried out in surprise, jumping forward to tackle the strange creature. His wings propelled him, allowing him to glide. He tackled it to the ground, away from the carcass of the deer.

Leo backed away, kneeling next to the corpse of the deer. His eyes were wide, his wings spread and ready for a speedy take-off.

Leo kicked her away, spreading his wings over it protectively.

Leo once again pushed her away, this time turning to the dead deer. He closed its eyes, pressing his forehead against the deer.

Leo didn't pay attention, as he was focused on the animal. he murmured to it, a tradition his people had done for centuries.

He leapt away, jumping into a tree to watch her. He sat on the branch, trembling.

Leo looked away, his wings shaking as well. He cocooned himself in his soft feathers, trying to block out the noise of her eating.

Leo eventually moved deeper into the wood, leaping from branch to branch with ease. He wanted this creature out of his forest.

Leo lept into the sky, banking to the west towards the main village to speak with his father and the council.

Against his better judgement, he returned to where the creature was, thinking it was better to keep an eye on her. He landed near the carcass, stumbling away with a hand covering his mouth.

Leo tentatively stepped closer, crouching next to her. He looked in wonder at the creature, gently removing the blanket to see the glow.

He peered at her tail, poking gently. he was slightly mesmerized by the glow.

Leo yelped and scrambled back.

Leo still had it in his hands. His eyes were wide and he was panting, lips slightly parted.

Leo dropped the blanket, using his arms to block any blows.

"Sorry! Sorry! I was just curious!" Leo said, lowering his arms.

Leo leapt up after her, chasing after her. "Wait! Please wait!"

Leo paused, kneeling for a moment one he lost her. He checked the ground for tracks, and found them. He stood outside the tree somewhat awkwardly. "Please come out. Im not here to hurt you." he said softly,b as not to startle.

He knelt again, grabbing a stick to draw in the dirt. he tried to draw symbols that she might recognise

Leo's head snapped up and he stood slowly, holding his hands up to show he was harmless.

"I have food! Good food!" He mimed an eating motion, following her.

he gulped. "I... have... food..." He mimed the motion again.

"I can take you!" He said. "I have a home here with lots of food."

He held a hand out towards her, trying to look as nonthreatening as possible.

Leo flinched, moving his hand back a bit.

He didn't move this time, only squeezed his eyes shut. He was willing to lose a limb to gain her trust.

He flinched, gritting his teeth and closing his eyes, biting back a yell.

Leo fell to his knees, clutching his hand and moaning in pain.

Crimson began to stain his skin, pooling in his palm and dripping onto the ground. He bit his cheek to stop from crying. He was frozen, but he had to keep moving. dusk was coming, and the night was so much worse if you had the scent of blood on you.

He took to the skies, his flying a bit sloppy due to the pain from his hands.

He barely made it back to the village. The flight was almost an hour long. he collapsed in the air above the plaza, plummeting a few yards onto the wood platform.

He stood and walked to the infirmary, dropping down on a bed as a nurse tending to his wound.

Leo waited as the nurse cleaned and bandaged his wound.

I dont have a lot of time to rp today, we have to get on the road soon to go home, but I will be on later. I'm not leaving now, just in like the next 20 minutes))

Ian walked to the mess hall when he was done, his stomach growling after not eating all day. It was crowded with avians, and he had to push his way through the crowd to grab a meal.

Once he had his food, (a roasted rabbit or two) he flew to one of the ledges in the mess hall, where avians chatted and ate. He chose one closest to the top.

He ate in silence, and once he finished, he flew out the top of the mess hall.

He returned to the spot he had last seen the creature, carrying a small pouch. His eyes adjusted to the dark forest. Leo knelt, looking for tracks. He followed the ones he had found until they stopped.

Leo heard a commotion, which was followed by hooting. He assumed it was an owl, but there was something not quite right about it. also, birds, in general, are rare because most of them evolved into Avians.))

yup yup)) He silently flew up, and was pleased with himself when he found the creature holding an owl. they were... hooting at each other???

He leapt onto the branch she was on, taking off his bag slowly. he was perched on the far, thin end of the branch.

poor baby fluffy hoot borb)) He extracted two large meals from the bag, holding them out to her. They contained deer and strawberries, as well as a canteen of water.

He inched further away, trying to seem as non-threatening as possible.

He moved as back as far as he could, the branch beginning to bend under his weight.

"No no nono wait!" Leo cried out, his voice breaking.

he leapt into the sky after her, keeping pace with ease.

He tucked in his wings, following her. It was basically a plummet for him, as he wasn't flying. His stomach lurched as he fell.

he spread his wings as he neared the ground. Leo walked to the entrance. He called out, not wanting to go in.

"Okay, okay. I'll stay away. Can I sleep on top of the meteor tonight?" He asked although he was gonna do it anyways.

"A-Away? You want me to go away?"

its okay lol)) "Okay, ill go away. But can i come back tomorrow? I'll bring more food for you."

"I'll take that as a yes. I can keep coming back if a bring food, right?"
