So Rae grew up with his father who hated him. He tried to murder Rae when he was 8 by drowning, and almost succeeded. He was found by a little girl who helped him heal. However the girl would gossip and lie about him bc of what he was. He found out and with a sad heart, left. The girl gathered people to find and kill him and he ended up killing them instead. He felt so guilty so he went to a cave in a tall mountain and stayed there. After growing up and feasting on prey and predators, he found out he could turn into a dragon. He tried to avoid it, but he decided he would explore and gather shiny things. So he ended up rich on accident cause he stole so much stuff and took it to his cave. One day a man was sent to kill him but saw he wasn't a bad guy and ended up being a protector for that kingdom. That is his current job.
