So, similar to Jake, Jack was very independent as a child, and often wandered off and explored on his own. On the same day as Jake, Jack found a chaos emerald, right under a tree. the tree was struck by lightning, and was lit on fire. The fire spread and lit Jack. He was only 5 years old when this happened. Coincidentally, he got lit just as he touched the emerald. With the fire and the emerald touching him at the same time, he inhibited fire abilities. At the age of ten, he decided to use his abilities for the sake of evil. He'll go through anything to destroy Jake, for one time back when they were 8. Jake had used his lightning abilities as a prank. It hurt him, but he was OK. Jake apologized, though Jack never forgave him. So from then on, Jack decided to become a villian.
