ok. One day, a little kitten crawled out of a den/burrow in the dirt underneath tree roots. He was unusual. He walked on two legs, was white, and could speak. His family was on their way to the den. The little kitten's name was Neon.

Neon's mother came to him and picked him up by the scruff. She carried him back into the den. Neon thought it was weird that all the other cats were orange and yellow, and walked on all fours. The next morning, while Neon was asleep, someone picked him up and carried him outside. In his sleep he heard unknown overlapping voices saying, "this kid is not meant to be here!" and "This kit is trouble!" He felt raindrops on his fur and woke up. Then, the cat that was holding Neon threw him onto the muddy ground. Neon stumbled to his feet, but everything was blurry. He could't find his way back to the den.

He was dizzy, and couldn't walk straight. Neon ran into this strange wall, and it crumbled onto him. He fell into unconsciousness. When he woke up, he dusted himself off, took a few steps, and fell to his knees. His leg was broken. He tried to walk, but fell again. He couldn't understand what was happening to him. He didn't understand that his leg was broken because he was only 2 weeks old. A strange looking bird picked him up and took him to a nest, high in a tree. The bird said to him in a funny voice, "You young cat look smaller than a baby birdy. You sure do look the funny, though, to be a bird. Now let's gecha' fixed up there, young n'." "O-ok," Neon said. "My leg is in pain." "No problem." He replied. Then, he bandaged him up and took him to a familiar place. His home! Neon's family were so happy to see him. They promised they would never say anything like they did ever again.
