Linkso you/your oc was asked to study a case. a lot of people were going missing throughout the city, and a few have shown up in random places, with their blood spelling out who's next. There hadn't been one found for a while, and no one had gone missing, at least, not that anyone noticed. So one day, you/your oc got really close to cracking the case. you/your oc could feel it. That night, you/your oc was attacked on the way home. When you/your oc woke up, you/your oc was bound tightly to a chair in a dark room with red lighting. wwyd?

Mari glared towards the mans direction, still unsure if he was actually standing there. “Which-..” Mari paused and a fearful look was displayed on her face. “It’s you! You’re the cold blooded killer. You sick ****.”

*the man grinned, stepping forward so she could see the outline of his face, and gold round glasses perched on his nose* Thats right darling-
*the man* mmhm. and I suppose you have figured out who I am?
*the man* You know, you kind of intrigue me- *he walked around her*
The man stopped in front of her and turned to look at her, his amber eyes catching some light*
The man: Well, you're acting pretty calm.
The man: *turned* It'll probably take you ten more minutes, even with your hand free-
The man: *checked the temperature of the tea with his finger, jumping back, waving his hand around. he burned himself-*
the man: *he got a glass of cold water, putting his hand in it* I- I'll tie you up again, so you'll have to restart
the man: no- I'll drink some if you don't believe me- *murmured* damn that was hot*
The man: *with his good hand he grabbed two tea cups, setting them down on a table, then still with his good hand, poured the tea, keeping his burned hand in the glass*
The man: ... yeah- it does. *sighed* anyway- tea?

the man: sure- * he took a tea cup, added sugar with one hand, stirred it, then took a sip*
the man: ...not yet- you havent given me a reason to want to.
the man: ........ *he didn't respond, taking a sip of his tea*
the man: the name's Salvo, by the way. (little background on salvo. he was one of the leads early on in the investigation, and he was abused as a child. thats all most people know about him, but he had been arrested quite often, always escaping in under a week)
(screw this i am doing it way too often*

Salvo: *he nodded*yup.

Salvo: *confused* It means firearm-
Salvo: I don't know. *he tucked his hood more on his face, his eyes no longer visable*
Salvo: ... I honestly don't know either. ...perhaps a bit more safe?
Salvo: !!! *he stiffened, obviously not used to being hugged*
Salvo: .... if you want to tie me up, go for it *he hung his head, still not showing his face* It is only fair.
Salvo:... *he lowered his hood. he had semi messy black hair, and caramel skin. his eyes were amber, and he wore gold glasses. he had a firm jawbone, but weary eyes*
Salvo: my dad always hated the way I looked. Always asked me why i couldnt be more like him *curled into a ball
Salvo: ... okay. Dinner is at six. *opened a door to a room. It was spacious, with a white, grey and black color scheme.*
The room was fairly clean and neat, fresh clothes in all sizes in the wardrobe, a bathroom attached. She was given a large tv at the front of the room, along with a mini fridge that was stocked. Salvo left.**
* he went to another bedroom. he dipped his head in response, then closed his door*
*the screen still worked- sort of. it showed a missing persons alert.*
*it seemed to be for her. It described her, but her name was glitched out.*
Nothing much. They just seemed to know she was missing. she had been gone for 5 days.*
The kitten squirmed a little, the bell on her collar giggling.
The kitten rolled on her back, her tail swishing excitedly, her little white paws in the air.
*it didn't have her name, just a bell. you could hear salvo open his door*
The kitten mewed, dashing out the door.
Salvo: Mu shoo! There you are!
Mu shoo ran up to mari, brushing fur against her leg. Salvo looked up at her. He wasn't wearing his cloak*
Salvo: I- *he was wearing a white button up shirt and black shorts btw-* *he awkwardly stood up*
Salvo: Yeah she is. She likes you.
*the kitten was purring*
Salvo: *he smiled softly* Well, she's safe. thats good. last time she wandered out into the road-
Salvo: *shrugged* It beats me, but im glad I found her when I did.
Mu shoo mewed, curling up on her feet
Salvo: *he looked at Mu shoo*
Mu shoo looked at her, yawning
Salvo: Beats me with that cat-
Salvo was gone, his door wide open, along with another door down the hall, which must have been the kitchen*
*his room was a complete mess, letters all over the floor. the color scheme was white, black and orange.*
Salvo was working on dinner, the rest of the doors locked, except the room she woke up in.*
*salvo had quickly put his cloak back on, quickly chopping up carrots
Salvo: *sorta in a grove, humming along to a song in his head*

Salvo: *he realized she was there, stopping humming, pouring the carrots into a pot*
Salvo: *he tested the soup, putting the hand he burned earlier on the stove. he cursed, dropping the spoon*
Salvo: Technically I can. the kits under the sink*Stepped out of the way*
Salvo: *watched her, rolling up his sleeve with his good hand*
Salvo: Cabinet closest to the fridge is the dishes, the silverware in the drawer below.
Salvo: *he finished,pulling out his phone again, checking the news*
Salvo: I- nothing. *pocketed his phone.* Im going to my room.
Salvo: *he got up and stormed off, something clearly bothering him*
Salvo: *he looked at her. he was curled onto his bed, his face streaked with tears* ...
Salvo: *sighed, wiping his face* so I've been trying to get my wife back from this man. He's been holding her captive for years, or so he says. all I have to do is kill a certain number of people, and I get something of her's back. I recently got her ring back. But, apparently he already killed her. 6 years ago.
Salvo: I thought she was still alive. I was told to kill those people so I could get her back.
Salvo: it's no use. it's sort of become a hobby- a bad one-

Salvo: Stay. don't leave the building. or there will be an unfortunate accident. *sharp, his grief apparent*
Salvo: *he grabbed something out of his top dresser, then walked off*
Mu shoo leaped off the bed and stretched, strolling down the hall like she owned the place.**
*there was a beautiful wedding ring on his dresser in a box. bellow it as a picture of a much younger Salvo, proposing to a beautiful brown-haired elf*
*bellow was another picutre. they were doing the wedding prep. there was a family picture. it did not look like her side of the family liked salvo. salvo didn't have anyone on his side of the family.*
*then there was a medical bill, of someone named angelina lucentio.*
*there was a name on the back of the first picture. two actually. Salvo Darkmoon and Angelina Lucentio (insert date)
Mu shoo: *pulled her head back, looking at her with wide eyes*
*the cat walked down the hall, slipping into a room that probably should be locked.
*it was a door to a small yard. there was no clear way out, but you could see the sky*
*the small cat lept up on a windowsill, then up onto the fence*
*there was a gate, but it was locked. sirens could be heard in the distance*
Mu shoo: *pounced, landing on her shoulders, her claws out*
*the sirens stopped for a moment (inplace), then went away*
*roughly ten minutes later* a door in the hall slammed loudly*
*it wasn't too deep, but it was deep enough to cause damage.*
*he looked over at her. the cat leaped onto his chest*
salvo: oof-
*he was trembling, slowly bringing them to his mouth. it was clear that he was in pain.
Salvo: *his breaths were shallow. he tried to slow down, taking more air, but it took a lot of effort*
*his breath was shaky, but he was able to walk with her help.*

Salvo: *his eyes wandered to his dresser, then to the box with the ring and pictures in it* ..did you go through my room?
Salvo: *he looked back at the box* i- i suppose you may have some questions.
Salvo: before you ask what happened to me, i went to try and take revenge. on the one who had killed angi.
Salvo: you probably would have died. the police were on her case already, and had a surprise attack ready.
Salvo: *put his hands up* hey, I didn't fire the first shot-
*he smiled at her, then his face furrowed with thought, looking at the box, then back at mari*
Salvo: *coughing from his room. Mu shoo leaped onto the counter where she was filling up water* mew?
Salvo: *he sighed, placing down the box,coughing violently again*
mu shoo: *hissing in the hall, her back arched, looking at the door to the outside*
*flashing lights shone under the door. salvo had left a trail of blood*
Salvo: *he reached into his pocket and handed her a remote.* Defence system. the hall's rigged.

Salvo: *unconcerned* they must have gotten past the gate now.

Salvo: but you could have gone free. you could have had your case sealed.

Salvo: ... *he looked at her, his expression kind*
Salvo: No, I agree.it feels like, when youre here, I am more whole.
Salvo: *he ate his crackers, letting out a wheeze, cause the lovely cat jumped on him*

Salvo: *leaned on her door frame* Do you want me to get you a new one?
Salvo: fair enough. *after a moment* are you still working on the report for the police?

Zeph looked around, trying to figure out where he was, trying to get out of the chair
*the man chuckled* Oh dear- not so bold when you come face to face with my huh.

*the man walked out of the shadows. he was wearing a hooded cloak that cast a shadow over his face, golden glasses perched on his nose. that was the only distinguishing thing about him, for the rest of him was covered*
*the man* Well, *smug* looks like you fell over-
*the man smirked* Really now. and how do you think you'll do that tied up?
The man: You knocked it over, you figure out how to get it back up.
The man: You're pretty entertaining. and all the other captives of course-
The man: *pulled out a gun* do you really think Im bluffing?
The man: *loaded the gun* lets give you a little teaser- shall we? *aimed the gun at his shoulder*
The man: *he fired, his aim shockingly on point, hitting him in the shoulder*

allen groaned, tiredly blinking his eyes open.

*a man stood in the shadows, just barely visible*
he looked down, noticing that he was bound to the chair. "w-what...?" he looked back up again, nervously glancing around. "where- where am i?!"
allen instantly went stiff, eyes widening. "your going to kill me? but- i haven't done anything wrong!!"
"what are you talking about?" he asked, in a quiet and timid tone.
the man: you know the case you've been tracing for a while now, about those missing people?
allen had somehow managed to look even more fearful than before as the realization dawned on him. "you're.. it's you! why would you kill those people? and oh god, im going to die, aren't i?" he continued to ramble on, mumbling a bunch of incoherent words.
he took in a deep breath, attempting to calm himself down a bit. "i just- w-why haven't you killed me yet? you're not gonna t-torture me, are you?"
"ah, i-i see..." he started to glance around the room again, looking for something, anything, that could potentially help him try to escape.
*there was a door, but there was a eye scanner, that opened it. *
the man:*studied him carefully*
allen stared at the door for a few seconds, taking a mental note of it. 'i doubt it can help now, but that might be useful later,' he thought.
the man: So you're the one they put up to the task of investigating huh?
his attention turned back to the man. "mhm.. i-im guessing that's why you've kidnapped me?"
he slightly tilted his head, now curious. "what do you mean 'mostly'?"
the man: Im still deciding what to do with you. i didnt really think this far ahead-

he averted his eyes away from the man and began to fidget. "angelina was- uhm- she was killed, a few years ago."
"uhm, i-i know im probably not too reliable but- i could try doing a bit of research on her case..? for closure, at least."

Lia stood up from the chair and threw the rope on the ground "Tying me up isn't a good idea"
"Now don't try running away darling." Lia grabbed the man by her tail and lifter him in the air
Lia chuckled "After your crimes, i can't let a little mouse run free. I need to put you in jain so lets go" Lia teleported outside with the man still wrapped by her tail
Lia started walking to the police station "Would you like to tell me your name?"
"I use to study and research about criminals before kidnapping them and killing them but after I was caught. The judge gave me a second chance of living if I went on their side. I still do it but not as often as I did when I was younger"
"I guess, it is fun to kill people but of course if I get caught I get killed and I can't leave my sister alone"
"Yep. I just wanna get this over with so I can go home to my daughter and my sister"
"Yeah. I adopted her after she was abandoned at my door. She's really an angel"
the man: Four. their mother died after she gave birth to the twins-
Lia looked down before putting the man down "I won't take you away from your kids so go to them." Lia then started walking away
"Just get going before your caught" Lia continued walking not looking back
Lia sighed before entering the Police station and going to her office
"Yeah, did something happen while I was gone?" Lia looked at the officer
the officer: Well, four kids have gone missing not too long ago.
the officer: Well, there is a set of twins in that family. They have black and brown hair mostly.
The officer: well, I do know their mother died when she gave birth to the twins-
The officer: getting ice cream. A bunch of people broke in, dressed in black surfer suits, and they took everyone there.
"I'll go investigate the area. I should find some clues on who did it" Lia closed her laptop and stood up
"I can protect myself, don't worry and if you want. You're aloud to come with me" Lia smiled before walking out of her office
"alright, let's go~" Lia said in a singing voice and leaves the police station to where the twins where last seen
the officer: yep. *the place was destroyed, tables flipped, not a sign of life left.*
"This was planned for months, maybe for a year" Lia kneeled down and picked up a bullet
"It has barely any evidence of leading to the people who came here. They forgot a bullet" Lia puts the bullet in a back
he was looking around frantically.
man: Ashton! Orca! Void! Ranger!

Lia went over and put her hand on the man's shoulder "We'll find them and bring them back to you, don't worry" Lia smiled
"Don't worry London, he just want his kids back" Lia looked over to him

"We'll be off now London, make sure no one comes here till we solve this case okay?"
Lia brought the man to her house and took her shoes off "Take your shoes off and follow me"
Lia lead him to a room that looked like her office "I'm gonna look at the bullet for dna samples"
the man: well, the oldest is in high school. His name is Ashton. He is the class president. *proud*
the man: he is. he has a big heart. he has asthma though, but he's able to power through.
the man: then there is Orca. she's a year younger than him, she looks a lot like me. she's strong and vicious. She doesn't like to be pushed around.
"If anyone wants to try and hurt her, she has full permission to beat them up" Lia smiled and giggled
The man: The twins. Ranger a complete book worm, and he loves to play the flute. He's the one who was born first. and the other one...
the man: the other I don't understand at all. Ashton seems to, but the others dont really either. he hardly opens up to anyone.
The man: i think somethings wrong with him. he wont talk to me.
"There's a lot of things that could be going through his mind. Does he know that his mother died after she gave birth to him?" Lia looked at the man
"That could be one of the reasons. He's blaming himself for her death and thinks you dislike him because of it. He's depressed and needs a mom to be there for him."
"That's why Ashton is the only one able to talk to him. Twins tend to be very close to each other and will tell them anything so Ashton would know because of it. You need to slowly show that you love him and it's not his fault" Lia looked back up at the man "I can help when we find them"
"Yeah, I took the same dna sample from a man before and I recenzie it" Lia smiled
"He's the one who took your kids. From looking at the bullet and the ceiling in the ice cream shop, he shot the ceiling showing that he will shoot someone if they didn't listen to him. He took your kids to his house or out in the woods"
Lia stood up and opened the closet with weapons "Choose your murder weapon" Lia moved out of the way
Salvo: *loaded the gun, putting it in a gun holder on his belt*
"You know how to ride an electric bike?" Lia turned on the lights and there were multiple types of motorcycles and bikes and cars
Lia gets on an electric bike and starts it up "These have radios for us to speak and just follow me okay?"
Lia stopped at the edge of the woods and turned her bike off before getting off
Salvo did likewise, putting up his hood so it cast a shadow over his face*
Lia whistled and waited before a big black wolf with purple glowing eyes come out of the woods
"Salvo, this is Phantom. He's a wolf of mine I ride with my family while in the woods now come on" Lia jumped on the wolfs back before lowering her hand down for Salvo
birds were flying around singing, leaves falling and water falling "You know, we can be friends if you want"
Lia smiled under her masked before the wolf stopped at an abandoned house "Stay here phantom" Lia got off and slowly started walking towards the place
Salvo: *jumped of the wolf, landing quietly, following her.*
Lia the took her dagger out and threw it at someone in the house killing them before running in the house to retrieve her dagger
When he came in, three people were on the floor bleeding while Lia was cleaning her dagger "Careful, they're more
In the room Lia opened had 4 kids in there tied to the chairs with tape on their moths with guys pointing guns at their heads
Lia then whispered "Go get your kids. I'll distract them okay? Don't care if I get hurt just save your kids"
Lia came out of the shadows and whistle "Hey guys, what's this about?"
Salvo: * quietly reached the oldest, motioning for him to stay quiet*
The men looked at Lia and walked over to her "Whatcha doing here girly? It's dangerous here" one of the men said
*the oldest screamed, jumping*
Salvo winced.
Salvo: he's afraid of guns.
Lia then came back into the room covered in blood and wounded a bit on her side "Sorry about them, they were annoying"
Ash: *shaking* i- its okay-
Salvo *untying the others, Orca already halfway untied*
Lia took her mask off "I'll be fine, it's just a scratch but are you kids alright?"
*the smallest whispered into the oldest's ear.*
Ash: me and Void are good.
Orca: I was GOING to get us out.
Ranger: they broke my flute-
"I can get you a new flute Ranger, don't worry now come here please. I wanna to double check to see you're alright okay?" Lia smiled at them
*Ash looked at Salvo who nodded*
Ash: It's okay-
Orca: I don't need you to tell me that.
"Okay then. Let me bring you to my place, me and your father need to talk some more." Lia looked at Salvo
Salvo: *he met her eyes and nodded sharply*
Orca: Alriiighttt!
Ash: ..okay-
Orca: That thing is so cool! what is it? *walking right up to Phantom*
"It's a phantom wolf. They're from another realm. I go there sometimes, it really is nice to go there" Lia stood off and brushed the dirt off her
"Yep now, are you guys ready to ride Phantom?" Lia looked at the others before putting her mask back on
Orca: Yeah!

Ranger: sure-
Ashton: Void's a little nervous, but we're ready.
"Don't worry Void, you can sit in front of me if you want" Lia walked up to Void and kneeled down to his height
Lia stood back up and held her hand out for Void to hold onto "Hey Salvo, wanna get your kids on Phantom for me?"
Lia lead Void to the wolf before putting him up there "Comfy right??"
Lia then jumped on and held Void close to her chest "Phantom, home" the wolf started running in the woods
the wolf jumped in the portal and they were in a beautiful forest with lights, flowers, animals and beautiful big trees

"Lia!" A girl with red hair and purple skin yelled and started running towards them
Lia looked at Void before at the girl "Mary, please calm down. I have visitors with me and one doesn't like loud sounds so quiet"
Lia gets down then takes her hood off and handed her jacket to Mary and took the mask off "Go let the group I'm back" Lia looked back at them showing her horns and her red skin

Lia giggled "C'mon phantom, let's go see Nex and Mary" Lia started walking with mary beside her and the wolf walked behind them
Ashton comforted void. orca looked around like it was the coolest thing ever, and Ranger looked like he was going to faint.
Mary then ran away and they got to Lia's house where someone like Lia was sitting there with a kid
The kid jumped up and started running towards Lia "Mommy!!" the little girl yelled smiling brightly
Lia picked the little girl up and spinned her in the air "Hows my little girl?" Nex stood up and smiled
*salvo helped the kids off, void refusing to let him help, going with ashton*
Lia put the girl down and look at the family "Guys, this is my daughter Mary"
"Now let's go inside. I'll call them over okay guys?" Lia waited for them
Nex was sitting on her phone, Mary was drawing and Lia was making tea

Orca: *sat next to mary* what are you drawing?

Then a knock is heard "Coming!" Lia got up and open the door for people
A guy with long purple hair and dark purple skin came in with a smaller boy with pink fluffy hair with wolf ears and tail.
"Hi..." Luke just sat on the couch and Milo followed then a grey bunny and a Mary came in

He looked down at the rope that he was being tied to.
Velvet blinked her eyes open, squinting at the odd lighting. “H-hello...?” she said in a small voice.
(I thought she would be the best choice since you are most familiar with her lol)
“Hello?” she said a little louder, squirming in the chair she was bound to.
“Who are you? Where is this...?” she grew even more wary at the mysterious voice
“I know right” she chuckled, mind drifting off at the sarcastic tone of voice she was using
“...have you ever noticed how weird lemons are?” she said after a moment of hesitation
“It’s true though! Lemons are sour, why would any sort of animal wanna eat them? Then how would they spread seeds so efficiently??” she began to question the existence of lemons. Sounds like Velvet.
“Lemons smell good though. I like that part of lemons. And they make good drinks, too!” she pointed out
“Oh wait, you kidnapped me. I guess I should be a bit more fearful” she said, realization striking her. “Oh, goodbye world. Farewell!” she said rather dramatically. “Wait, I’m hungry. Do you have any food?”
“Ooo! Do you have any yogurt? I love yogurt!” she beamed, leaning towards the darkness the voice was coming from
She gasped excitedly, “Oh my goodness! If you could grab some for me, that would be great!”
When he exited, she began pulling at the ropes. She attempted to reach down and gnaw them off but she was too far. The knot was placed in the front, so she couldn’t fumbled with it with her hand

The man walkde back in, and cut the ropes around her hands, handing her yogurt and a spoon*

“Thank you, sir!” she said kindly, hoping to catch a glimpse of his face a she received the yogurt

*his face was covered in shadows, he wore a hooded cloak, but his eyes were a strange shade of orange*
She gritted her teeth before taking a spoonful of yogurt and eating it. “I would like to say, you have very beautiful eyes, sir!”

She took this opportunity to stand up and quickly follow him, her footsteps silent
The man walked to a kitchen, throwing it away. there was a door in the hall that led to the kitchen that was propped open*
Velvet inhaled sharply, moving to the edge of the kitchen walls and trying to hide behind any stray object
She quickly began searching for an exit, looking through door after door

She went through the propped open door, walking past the dark doorframe
“Shoot. I can’t climb very well, and the dirt/concrete/whatever the ground is made of looks hard as rock... I couldn’t dig through it”
She scratched at the gate lock for a moment, sighing. “Well, I’m dead”
