Uhhmm
You're at a party, you could be hosting it, friends with the host, or dragged along by friends. It's a pretty big party and there's tons of people, one person however, stands out to you. A tall, skinnyish bomb headed creature that's cyan and purple in color. They seem to be lightly drinking and smoking, engaging in casual conversation with the people around them. Occasionally their tone and overall body mannerisms were a but flirty. You watch as they excuse themselves and stand up and leave to another room.

Solar noticed the individual from afar quietly observing them with good intentions of course so Solar decided to introduce themselves to them as Solar followed not too far behind the person in a friendly manner before speaking forth "Hey there" Solar said with a rather chipper tone in their voice as he continues "i hope you're enjoying yourself here at my party, i just wanna check up on everyone to see if they are having as much as a good time as everybody else is all" they smiles kindly

Vinyl had decided it was a little too loud in the room they were in, so they moved to a more quieter room. They didn't seem like they were expecting anyone to follow, as they jumped slightly at Solar's voice. They whipped around to look at them, lifting a brow. Vinyl would nod with a soft hum as they spoke, "mhm.." they mumbled, "yeah its.. its a nice party." Their voice was flat and monotone, they seemed as if they were not excited to be here. However they did smile softly, barely enough to see their teeth, which were sharp and a bright purple color. "You're the host?" They questioned with a small tilt of their head
Solar looks around for a moment taking in their now softer and quieter surroundings before snapping back into the conversation with vinyl and nodding with a hum as they respond "mmhm.. i suppose i am, this party wasn't really what i had in mind a lot more wild and chaotic then i intended it to be but i guess it's worth seeing all these people enjoying themselves i suppose" Solar raises a hand scratching at their chin lightly "are you here with a group of friends or is it just you here?" Solar tilts their head curiously
They inhaled deeply, placing their hands in their pockets. Nodding slowly at Solars response, agreeing with them. "Yeah, people are having fun," they let out a soft chuckle, "quite the crowd out there." They hummed while nodding, glancing out to where the sounds of loud music blasting was coming from. Their focus being taken away from the noises back to Solar, "Oh uh- I was invited by a.. person from my work. Not really.. friends but not strangers, yknow?" They shrugged, "yeah uh.. anyways.. just here by myself right now."
Solar nodded looking out to the crowd of other people who seemed to be having the time of their lives in the far distances the sounds of the music just barely audible from here "yeah, yeah you could say that again" they chuckled alongside Vinyl "ah so an acquaintance invited you here, i see.. i can imagine how awkward it might feel being around people you aren't very familiar with, especially amongst a crowd of them...." Solar looks to them with an empathetic look
Vinyl chuckled, "yeah I mean.. yknow-" they shrugged, "people will be people." Vinyl let out a small laugh, "I'm really ever only social at these parties, they're pretty fun." Their body posture seemed more relaxed at this polite conversation, rather than when solar first began talking, at which point they seemed tense. "I'm uh.. I'm Vinyl by the way." They took one of their hands out of their pockets and extended it out for the other to shake*
Solar jolts with embarrassment completely forgetting to introduce themself "oh jeez! where are my manners!" Solar straightens up and eminently yet softly takes vinyl's hand without a second thought "im Solar haha.." they chuckle nervously their other hand rubbing the back of their neck as they chuckled yet smile big and bright as always "nice to meet you vinyl!"
Vinyl chuckles softly, gently shaking Solars hand, they had a firm, yet gentle grip. Their hands were surprisingly soft as well. "Lovely to meet you too, Solar." They spoke softly, their lips curled into a very, very soft smile. If this was how it felt to make friends, they might try to do that way more often then. They thought Solar was rather sweet.
Solar simply smiles back up toward Vinyl meeting their gaze something about it made Solar feel warm and more comfortable and easygoing "Well then, im glad the feeling is mutual haha!" Solar chuckled cheerfully soon tilting their head "i really did enjoy your company believe it or not... probably one of my highlights at this party and even day, im glad i managed to bump into you" Solar said before playfully nudging at Vinyl's shoulder
Vinyl chuckled in an embarrassed way, rubbing the spot that Solar had nudged with one of their hands, the other free one waving in a dismissal manner. "Oh you're far too kind.." they mumbled in an embarrassed tone. When you're not used to being ng complimented, or really any positive feedback, it can catch you by surprise.
Solar chuckled "oh complimenting me now huh? you really are a pleasant surprise" They continued chuckling seeming to have a really good and fun time while hanging with Vinyl despite actually being present at the party they found it more entertaining and comfortable just chatting and conversating with Vinyl, Solar couldn't help but smile brightly in the moment with a certain warmth
vinyl thought for a moment or two, staring gently at the mountain of ice that kept the drinks cool. "hm.." they muttered, "alc-.. uh.." they huffed slightly, "sodas fine." they murmured something under their breath, something about tomorrow.. they probably had work and didn't want to wake up hungover.
Solar grins cheekily "are you always this flustered when chatting with others?" Solar chuckled before taling another sip "okay but seriously to answer your question yes i suppose im nice to everybody but im really nice to those i like" they smiled their tone light hearted and chipper as ever with a hint of playfulness
Vinyl rolled their eyes at the first comment, exhaling through their nose. they were quite unsure where their confidence had gone, as they were typically much better at this entire.. talking thing. the compliments that are there just to.. be there really got to them. when people compliment them, its always because they want something. Solar, as far as Vinyl knows, was being kind just to be kind. they hummed, "you're quite a good host.." they smiled once again, bigger this time.
Solar leans bacl against the couch "host? Nah...im more of a person to person than whole group sort a thing i can't really manage people so well but hanging out with one person, with you is enough for me to enjoy might night" solar smiled looking down at the floor then to the can in thier hands fiddling with it in their hands
vinyl shifted around in their seat, pulling their legs close to them, taking another sip from the soda. "mh.." they mumbled, "you're a good..." a moment passed while they thought, "you're a good people person then." they finished with a giggle, shifting around once again, leaning back into the sofa with one leg crossed over the other. gay stance/j
Solar smiled brightly their pupils shaped into stars their cheeks turning a dark shade slightly flustered by the compliment which meant alot to them Solar shifts as well putting their shoulder down pulling their legs close against their chest "yeah....thanks for that.." they smiled warmly as their arms wrapped around their leg almost in a fetal position
They would chuckle softly at this reaction, lifting the can up to their lips as they glanced at the clock.. they would most likely have to leave soon so they could.. yk.. actually get some sleep before they work a full shift. but just a little longer couldn't hurt.. right? they took another sip, now staring at the clock, their bright, slightly glowing eyes squinting at it. 'getting late...' they thought to themselves. man this soda was pretty good
Solar's eyes followed vinyl's upwards to the clock sitting on the wall solar hums seeinv the time and how late this party was lasting for it wont be long before guest to start heading home solar dreading the mess afterwards having to clean up after one letting out a sigh "i suppose you have to go soon right? Om assuming you have your own live with your own responsibilities that you have to consider sont let me kewp you here" solar chuckled once again playfully nudging one of vinyl's shoulders while looking up to them
Solar chuckled putting their hands together "oh wow, arent you just my night in shining armor...jokes aside i could really use the help and after if you'd want just sleep here for thr night if your comfortable enough" solar shrugging lightly stretching out on the couch before straighten up before standing back up looking to vinyl "though i understand if you refuse" they tilt their head giving a small smile
