I think it would be best not to know, as having to discuss the entire event wouldn't be much help to him.
Part of me wants to know so I could support him... but a bigger part of me thinks that we should also try and respect him so... we shouldn't ask questions. It's for Icon.

i was in the same neighborhood as the school that got shot up when it happened.
