Oh boy my hands are going to hurt So, we know that Endeavor’s quirk is named HellFlame, and I named Trap’s quirk HellFire. (I was unaware of the name of Endeavor’s quirk then) Contrary to what it seems, the quirks are quite different from each other. For Endeavor, to manifest a flame it needs to be created on his body first. You’d think that Trap would have this too, right? Nope, for Trap to manifest Fire it does NOT require being created on the surface of his body. (But if he wants to, he can do that too!) It merely requires the necessities that fire needs. Oxygen, heat, and something to burn. Trap uses the oxygen in the air to create a flame as he is already a huge heat source. Trap uses the air as a burning source, which is sort of a plot hole but it works, trust me. He can manipulate the fire through the air, and it doesn’t require a surface to be on. The other main difference is the weaknesses of them both. Endeavor can overheat if he uses his quirk too long, whereas Trap is basically the Denki of Fire.

If Trap makes too much fire or controls it for too long, his IQ temporarily decreases while he uses his quirk still. If this goes on for WAY too long, his HP can start to decrease. In video game terms, his full hp would be 250 which is a LOT compared to normal humans. (I’d say humans are around 100 hp) Trap’s defense is NOT great either, as it’s his second weakest stat. (His weakest stat is special defense) There’s also the difference of Trap being a tree/lava dragon, his lava side basically making him IMMUNE to any type of fire attack. Trap also has his power increased when attacked with fire. (It’s like he absorbs the fire to make his attacks stronger) And then we get to the last (maybe??) difference. They are completely different species with different species effects. Endeavor is human, and humans are affected by fire badly. Trap is tree/lava dragon, Lava dominant.
