But how can he when he obviously can't harm smokey directly? Perhaps he'll possess one of smokey's loved ones with his new ghost powers? Hmmm

I get lethal, but why stain? Since he's a ninja doesn't he want to not be seen? Stains are often seen :/
Bloody shadow? It's a compromise, plus it has ties to how he was shot (bloody) and his ghost and ninja forms. I think that's good :? What about you guys?
Maybe try and animate the blood slowly dripping from his scalp, as he was shot. It's best to use realistic animation, while making the blood slowly fade. (Unless its on the ground)
