Usually I just use a very low transparency on the color I’m using an slowly layer it on. It takes awhile, but it’s worth it

If the color looks too unblended, I take the eraser tool and put it on a color with very low transparency and erase the edges until it looks smooth.

Or i use the color of the background and layer it onto the secondary color/ color I want to blend in.
