LinkThe idea that it's a community irritates me. It isn't, it's a shared characteristic of not being hetero. I only know the LGBT people I know because they're near me.
Also, the idea of it being a community has a positive influence of people coming together to help those in need, but the not so positive influence if only doing it for non-straights.

LinkSo, I see this a lot, LGBT people acting like they have more problems than they do. Like, I know this is one dude's opinion, but of the few homophobes I've met, most were muslim, and one is an actual sociopathic junky, so not a great sample.
What I mean is, LGBT people act like anything a straight person does that isn't directly benefiting them is homophobic.

LinkOkay, the concept of LGBT pride confuses me.
First, why be proud of being born, you didn't DO anything. I'm saying be ashamed, but pride and shame aren't a black and white thing, just be fine with it.
Second, pride parades are dumb. If you really want people to stop seperating LGBT people as different, then stop doing it yourself.
And this leads pretty well into my next point.

You've all probably seen that gay dude who is such a qween and tounge clicks every second like an LA drag queen despite being from Nebraska. Like, the people who are clearly putting on an act.
I've met gay guys who are actually camp and acrually talk like the steretypical gay dude, but it annoys me when people just do it because that's what gay guys do.

It's one of those words that started as an insult, but some people reclaimed it. But, then it started being used as if it were the technical term.
Guess what, it was never really reclaimed In England. Americans just decided it was fine.
It's like me calling it the "faggit community". Not okay.
The word is fine to use, but like faggit, don't call people you don't know it.

LinkThen the idea that Trans people belong in the same acronym as homosexuals bisexuals and asexuals, despit transgenderism being a gender identity thing, not a sexuality thing.
The only reason it's in the acronym os because it used to be called transexuality before people decided (hang on, that's dumb, it's not a sexuality).
Also, this gives some minute amount of fuel to the the retards who think transgender people are just gays who want to go further.

And that every homophobe automatically hates bisexuals, then a bunch of gay people think bisexuals are just confused, or are straight people trying to get into the LGBT, or are untrustworthy ir "more likely to cheat" because apparently the sexuality makes you a cunt.
And none of this is really addressed by anyone who isn't bi themselves.

LinkAnother tangent, my sister is a lesbian, and I came out as bi a while ago (which I regret and will get into later) and my dad only stopped being homophobic a HEAR after I came out, because his ****ing therapist was gay?

Okay, if you're trans, I get it 100%. You need to get medical procedures and shit, makes sense.
But if you're thinking of coming out as gay or bi, let me give you a little analogy.
So, pretend you have a child. You're his parent, you didn't steal him.
So you're son, at 15 years old, comes to yo u and says "mom/dad, I have something to tell you. I like ***** in me."
Weird right?
That's pretty much what coming put is. The only people who need to know your sexuality are you, and the people you want to have a relationship with.
Outside if that, it's nobody's business, so don't feel like you need to.

1. The people in the LGBT community do have more problems than heterosexuals, their parent may not except them for who they are and may click them out for good, people may judge them and hate them for being LGBT
2. LGBT pride isn’t about ring proud of being born, it’s about celebrating the day you came out to the world that you were LGBT and people are proud of themselves because it’s really hard believe it or not
3. Pride parades are not dumb, we wat to be different as ourselves but the same as a species, we are all people and are the same species but we’re different, and proud too.
4.no transgender is not a sexuality thing but it is hard to do, girls don’t just say “hey mom, dad, I’m a guy now k?” No it takes weeks months,and sometimes years to come out.
5.i do agree on the bisexual bicurious thing. That’s just stupid

The only one in my family that knows I’m bi is my older brother who accepts me.

what really annoys me about that community is both things you touched upon one bi erasure like I follow this one girl on tumblr who is bi but isn’t constantly called a handmaiden and a bihet and a lying straight because she’s with a man. Then they have the nerve to say that bis never have any problems due to sexuality when you’re harassing people because they’re bi.
AND THE FLAG. AAAAAA THE FLAG. the flag has been commandeered by gay people as just the gay flag and we’ve got all these happy bright flags for other sexualities and the straight flag??? Black and white. Because “straights are boring XD”

Yeah you aren't wrong. I'm a part of the LGBT community and I see people of the community who act rather in a way as they do have more problems. Now it is apparently turning into a "trend", of some sort. Some think they are all high and mighty, as they are better than straight or sis people.
