Scenario-
Your oc knew X, and was concidered an acquaintance, and after being in the world X lives in for as long as your oc has been there, has started to notice random things, mostly things about X becuase they were the main person your oc hung around with in that world, and noticed that they(x) try to avoid people and people in return try to avoid X, and also that X seemed to be the only person of their species there, do, your oc waited for a random oppertunity to ask X what the hell the random "avoid people at all costs" thing is about, and ended up interrupting a meeting they(X) were having with the mayor, so X just brings your oc to a different room and asks in a slightly annoyed tone what your oc needed

X: -stands infront of the room the meeting was in for a moment, then looks at satoshi, and walks up to her, they had a slightly emotionless expression and werent making eye contact- ...shatoshi.
Satoshi:..... why are you asking....*she had a unreadable expression on her face*
X: ..becuase you didnt have to stay? You couldve just left. You looked annoyed anyways
Satoshi: *she looked at X and tried to make eye contact even though standing still... with her same annoyed looking expression*
X: -still not making eye contact, something is off, but its not obvious what-

X: -just gets their cloak from the room theyre in and puts it on, putting the hood of their cloak over their head, and exit the room, then just go to leave the building- ....i said leave me alone... Please...
-they sounded as if they were either annoyed or on the veryge of just crying, but it was hard to tell, they then go to leave the building--
Satoshi: *she stopped walking and stood there silent for around 3 minutes after they left*
Satoshi: *sighs* dumba$$..... thinks I don't understand sh!t.....*she starts walking out and she goes to her house after picking up soma*

X: -walking to Janes potion shop, hood on, staring at the ground as they walk-
Soma: *sees X walking and points at him* mama! Don't you know that person?!
Satoshi: hmm? *looks up a bit and sees X as well then feels Soma start dragging her over to them*
Soma: hello! *talking to X and he's speaking really loudly*
Satoshi: *whisper yelling* soma!
X: -stops walking, convering their ears, then looks at soma and satoshi- ............
Soma: *stops abruptly then quiets down substantially* you know my mama don't you *he had his regular cute little baby smile*
Satoshi: *5'10 in the shoes that she's wearing and she puts herchand on soma's head, her regular angry look* Soma, stop.... you're being rude
X: -looks at soma, then back at satoshi, then judt turns and goes back to walking silently, they didnt seem ok- ...........

X: -walks up to the counter of the shop- -takes out a dagger and stabs the counter, getting the attention of Jane, their friend who owns the shop-
Jane: X! Hey!--- ......why did you stab the table i just got that fixed from last time you were here---- ......oh.. You're still upset? Arent you..?
X: -just nods silently in responce to Jane, then pulls their hood further over their head, seemingly ignoring soma-
Soma: *jumps out of fear from the dagger*
Satoshi: *sitting outside of the shop and sighs* I hope Soma stays safe....
Jane: -notices soma- ...oh- hello small child-
-looks at X- ..go sit down-
X: -just goes to a table in the back of the potions shop and sits down-
Jane: -looks at soma again- ...small child why are you here-
Soma: *looks up at Jane then looks at X then looks back at Jane* my mama knows them and they're not talking *talking about X and satoshi*
Jane: -looks at X, then back at Soma- ...oh- well.. X isnt doing too great right now, theyre having a bit of a bad week, so they probably just dont want to talk at the moment, sorry.. Also idk who your mother is, so idk if I can really help with that part

X: -sits up and looks at Jane, then shakes their head 'no'- ...
Satoshi: *calms down and grabs soma off of the counter* we're sorry for bothering you.... *she looks dead*

X: -puts their head back on the table and just stays silent-

Soma: Satoshi! *he starts smacking Satoshi legs softly but she keeps ignoring him*

Soma: don't blame yourself!! *he gets a bit mad and that turns into some tears* I tried to help! And then you thought about mama and that made you sad.... stop being sad!
Jane: -just lets soma and satoshi talk, and then goes over to the part of the counter closest to where X is so she can check on them-

Satoshi: *she has a dead look on her face and she sounds lifeless* why would you then bring her up.... you know that word about Sano angers me in small ways
Soma: I know you loved her! I know you cry when you're seen with that ring on and you get called out!
Jane: -mentally repeating to herself to stay out of the conversation-

Soma: you took care of her when my dad couldn't! He found out and ran! Mama was your world, and the reason I'm here! *he trails off and starts crying into her leg* and the reason you're still alive....
Satoshi: *standing still and unmoving*..... *she looked very sad but wasn't going to cry or show weakness in any way*
Soma: *looks up at satoshi..

Satoshi: *very quietly speaking to soma* will you please go to the other side of the building....
Soma: *trying to dry his tears and calm down* o-ok... *he starts to walk to the other wall*

Satoshi: *walks over to the two and stops after being about two feet away then looks at the floor* I don't want to put anything on either of you.... *she sounded like she was nervous and needed time and space*
Jane: -looks at her- ..if you need to you can go sit down at one of the tables, i wont bother you, you seem to need to be alone

Satoshi: *she takes a deep breath* do you think you.... either of you... would have the ability to watch over him for about an hour... *looks at Soma, but he's not paying any attention to anything*

X: -just no longer inside of the potion shop and is now walking through the town-
Jane: uh- yes, its over there- -she points at a door labled bathroom-
Jane: no, there isnt anything needed to be done currently- sorry
Soma: ok *walks back to the chair and hops back up onto it* *he grabs the pencil again and begins to doodle once more*
Soma: *stares at shelf of potions for a little while then starts drawing*
Soma: *nods then moves the piece of paper to show a new, clean sheet* hmm... *looks at Jane*
Soma: *looks at the paper and starts sketching* *he looks at the paper then back at Jane a few times*
Jane: oh- that's easy- -snaps her fingers and a pencil sharpener appears on somas table- ^^ there you go ^^
Soma: *looks shocked and amazed at the same time* wha..... how.... that's so cool! Oh thank you btw *picks up the pencil sharpener*
Soma: *turns the paper around so it faces Jane* ^^ *it's a drawing of Jane that Soma made*
Jane: -thinks the drawing looks nice, doesn't seem to realize the drawing is of her- oh wow! Nice drawing ^^

Soma: *moves the paper and reveals another piece to start drawing on*
Jane: -keeps wprking, eems to just be going back and forth from things she already organized-

Jane: yeah- im good ^^ dont worry, im just concerned about X, but X can handle themself, so its ok-
Jane: they are probably at either 1, a bar, in which you cnat go into since you are 8, or they are in a different world- so uh- I konda cant really check on them right now, so imma just wait for them to hopefully come back-
Jane: ...that doesnt make me feel any better about leaving you outside of a bar-
Jane: ..i can just wait for X to get back- if they come back here- or I can judt wait until later and go see them at their place and check up on them-
Soma: why don't you close up shop for now and go look for them alone?

Soma: every time I listen to mama Sato and stay out of trouble when alone... or when a good report is given to her from someone who took care of me for a while
Jane: well- you've been good and I dont have any way of contacting your mother currently- so um- maybe we stick to a sandwich for now and then maybe later you can come back and get some sweets after your mom picks you up?

Jane: becuase theyre nice and we practically grew up together! Ive known them sine I was a kid ^^-- why?
Jane: theyre just really bad at social cues- and under alot of pressure and stress all the time.. So they come off as a bit agressive, but i assure you they are very nice when you get to know them ^^
Jane: yeah! Also oh- :0 does she like reading? Becuase I can recommend some good books that can make for good distractions from stress ^^

Soma: no... not really... but when she does read she's basically in a giant border of books that she read
Soma: because every book she reads is a book about romance... and it's kinda scary because stacks upon stacks of that genre exists
Soma: it's not cause she genuinely likes it... she just like making fun of the characters
Jane: oh- well I mean they do kinda write the characters out funny-
Soma: in her favorite one half of the cast dies... even one of the two mainstream characters who are the ones in a relationship
Soma: she sounded like an amazing person from the small amout of things I've been told
Soma: I can learn how to swing a sword around like my mama swings around her spear *he likes sharp objects*
Soma: ok ^^ you just seemed to sound worried when I said that I was happy to learn how to fight

-a tall woman stops in front of the two..... she has red hair, a very detailed dress, rabbit ears, a spear, and a cape-type thing covering her shoulders-

Soma: *brushes off his knees* and multiple people here know my mama so if I did get into trouble I'd get brought back home

-there's still something moving in the bushes-
Soma: *standing by the bush* hm? *he moves the leaves and sees the thing*
Soma: :D *he sets down his plush and picks up the thing* it's a really cool looking cat! This pattern is nothing like I've ever seen
-the thing in the bush was a very rare cat breed.... it's almost never seen anywhere and they sell for very high prices-
soma: i read up on animal breeds sometimes....... this is a very exotic cat breed and i know that for a fact ^^
Soma: they sell for high prices and were killed to near extinction •^•
Jane: oh- that's- thats bad-
X: ......... -they just turn around and start to just walk away-
Soma: *holds the cat up higher and nuzzle it* but they're very nice ^^
Jane: -puts her hand on X's shoulder to keep them from leaving- -replies to soma- thats good ^^
X: ........ -looks at Jane-
Soma: *sets the cat down and it runs up to Jane and brushes against her leg*
Jane: -looks at the cat- aww hi little one ^^
X: ...... -backs away from jane and the cat-
Soma: *grabs his plush*
-the cat is also very talkative and it purrs a lot*
Jane: -kneels down to the cats level, just to see if thee cat would let her pet it- ^^
X: ....... -just looks liek they want to get away-
-the cat purrs happily-
Soma: ^^ *sees X wanting to leave and tilts his head*
Jane: -happily petting cat still- ^^
X: .......... -just silence-
Soma: *walks up to X*
-the cat fell over and rolled onto its back, showing its stomach-
Jane: ^^" -just smiles, and stops petting, becuase she knows most cats dont like being pet when theyre on their backs and doesnt want to risk it-
X: -looks at soma- .........
Soma: why are you trying to walk away?
-the cat seems to want its belly to be pet- ^^
Jane: -doesnt want to risk it lol- ^^"
X: ..... -just continues to jsut look at soma, not answering the question-
-the cat is still purring and it slightly wraps itself around Jane's leg-
Soma: are you afraid of cats?
-the cat rolls onto her foot and is purring-
Soma: then why are you trying to leave?
Soma: really? But you're with your friend
-the cat purred happily and started bumping its head against Jane's leg-
X; ..it jsut doesnt matter, also janes preoccupied by the cat..
Jane: -petting the cat- ^^
Soma: plus I'm pretty sure that that cat is pregnant.... that breed is naturally really thin

X: ...its a cat, im not surprised
Jane; -petting the cat still- ^^
Soma: but if you know it's normal weight then it's a obvious problem *turned around to look at Jane*

Jane: ok small cat i cant pet you forever- -stops petting the cat-
Soma: *walks up to jane* probably a good idea
-the cat looked calm and happy-
Soma: but it looks pregnant.... that breed has a high metabolism..... so they look super thin all the time
Jane: well- if it is, then maybe try to find it a safe place

Jane: -now slightly confused becuase she was jsut waiting or Soma-

Jane: ...this town is ththe safest place you could possibly be in-

soma: *dumb 8 year old moment* but it could still get hurt out in the open
Jane: ....a house child- take it to a house to stay in-

X: .......I live in the woods, so technically Jane is the only one you can visit
Soma: mama will be mad if I bring home a cat..... so there's really nowhere I could think of.....
Jane: ..i mean- the potion shop might work but id have to put a barrier over the shelves so the cat cant knock the bottles over-

Jane: -looks at X- ....honestly fair- that- that is a good place to bring the cat-
X: ..mhm---- make sure its no-kill first tho, some shelters arent great

Soma: The cat could live with you..... It might be our best option if we can't find a good shelter
