Linkso like, two scenarios that could happen here
1. your oc was working on fixing up an old asylum to turn it into something and strange things have been happening there so it was assumed there was a ghost problem, and well, there was a ghost problem, so anyways your oc was in one of the rooms that the ghost also happened to be in and your oc turned on the light revealing a child who was now covering their face which was bleeding and now seemed to be in agonizing pain
2. same light instance as the first one but the haunting happens in your ocs house

*she jumped back up and smacked the light switch and turned the light of and turned her head light on

the child staggered back still holding his hands over his face, whimpering in pain
the child removes his hands from his face, revealing his eyes that were fogged over indicating he is unable to see, and he gives her a confused look as blood still drips from his face
*she smiled* really, your like me when i was 5 i very bloody mess
