Ersa was genetically engineered, when she was ready, her creators drained the test tube and she opened her eyes, she saw the world around her, and had the heavenly melody of calamari inkantation etched into her soul. as she was released, the scientists thought she would be dangerous if they weren't careful, but after a few tests, they found out that she was pretty pastel and friendly, and smart, but she didn't know some things at first. She was a test subject for awhile, and they ran a few "weird or painful" tests for her to know what could happen to her and how it felt. After a few months of testing, the tests were finished and she was ready to travel the world, so they gave her a yellow sweater with a green stripe, blue shorts, and brown shoes to wear on her journey, but as soon as she stepped out into inkopolis, she started a normal life.
