LinkThe light cleared, and what stood in front of us was a nightmare.
She had grown an extra pair of limbs, each palm of the hand concealed a piercing eye, staring into my soul. Her flesh had turned into what almost looked like a gooey substance with a dark center. Her wings and tufts of fern had become almost tentacle-like, flowing slowly. She hovered above the ground and moved as if gravity had no affect at all.
I knew this would be one hard fight.
Araquanid lunged at her, gliding across the tile floor with his specialized legs. Salad's eyes never left him as he tried to speed out of her vision. Somehow, though, at the same time, she managed to dodge Ice Beams from Edmund's Golisopod.
Salad suddenly slammed her tail on the ground, and the whole Earth felt like it shook. Rocks jutted out of the ground, nearly stabbing me several times, while what I could assume Earthquake threw off our Pokemon. Otto was very quickly hit and fainted. Linkshe wasn't fast enough, her moves looked like they combined with the Nihilego's.
He returned Otto, and looked to me and motioned to a rock nearby Araquanid. I briefly wondered what he meant, but I realized what when I saw Araquanid launching himself off said rock and onto Salad's back.
The dragon snarled viciously and attempted to throw him off. I decided to take action.
"Araquanid, Ice Beam!" I shouted quickly. The spider charged up and fired the beam attack anywhere possible, but it seemed to have almost no effect. I panicked as Salad shook him off and attempted to slash at him with her claws, narrowly missing him.
Edmund got an idea. "Wait, maybe she took a different typing too! Try things Nihilego is weak to!" He shouted to us. Golisopod nodded and ran at Salad and used Liquidation, which did a number on her. Araquanid followed up with the same move.
Salad snarled and dove down on our Pokemon. She managed to pick them both up and slam them to the ground, which pretty much automatically kno

Linkknocked out Araquanid- and to finish Golisopod off, she used the blades on her arm to slash her, and she was downed as well. We both returned the Pokemon quickly.
"Edmund," I said, grabbing Garchomp's Pokeball and letting out the Dragon-type. "Send out Trevenant and get him to attack Garchomp."
He nodded, understanding my strategy, and sending out the Grass-type. Garchomp used Bide, while Trevenant fired off Energy Balls at him.
Salad, in an attempt to stop this, swung her tail at him, knocking the Garchomp into the wall with Dragon Tail. But, thankfully, Garchomp survived using his Focus Sash, and ran at Salad to finish off Bide. It left a dent, definitely, even if she was part rock type. But after that move, Salad easily finished off Garchomp with a flick of her claws.
I switched out Garchomp for Tsareena. Without a word the Grass Type lunged at Salad and kicked her hard in the head. She roared in pain and fell back onto the ground, the Nihilego parting for a split second and disappearing.. s

The dragon panicked. "Leader, wait! Come back!" She yelled, looking around frantically.
Both I and Edmund rapidly barked orders to our Pokemon to attack in her weakened state, and they tried their best. Salad was still very fast, but she couldn't dodge everything. I briefly wondered how she was still so fast, even with a missing limb, but when I looked to see how she did it the limb had apparently restored itself. How..?
My thought was interrupted by Tsareena getting launched backwards by a Dragon tail. She fell in front of me, low on health. I rushed to grab a potion and heal her.
Trevenant seemed to get the same treatment, and went flying towards Edmund, hitting his Hydreigon and knocking him out of the way. Since his support was gone, Edmund collapsed, struggling to get up because of his leg.
The Nihilego returned and re-fused with her. She immediately began charging a Hyper Beam, and aimed it at Edmund. I ran towards him, doing my best to shove him out of the way and taking

Your writing is so good
I feel like I’m with them, watching every move unfold. It really gives me a vision in my head of what’s happening, you show what happens with words instead of just telling the reader. I love this so much hhh
