LinkOkay so for those who don’t know, I have a Mario game idea for Nintendo! The game idea is about Mario and Luigi discovering a new dimension while trying to save Peach. When they enter that dimension, they meet Maria and Louise, the female versions of them on their way to save Mango (the prince). So all four of them decide to work together to defeat Bowser and Liz, while slowly bonding and becoming friends. I have some designs for characters other than Maria and Louise too so... Heh... how is it?

LinkThe game is not going to be an RPG but rather an open world game like Odyssey and 64. Because of that, I need to think of something that the characters need to collect in order to proceed to the next level.
The story will be divided into three parts, the Bros’ dimension, the Sisters’ dimension , and both combined.
For the gameplay, I will allow the player to control the Bros. (Mario being the main one to control while Luigi follows, kinda like how you can control Mario and Cappy in Odyssey.) or the Sisters. And during times, you can mix and match partners. For example, Maria can be with Luigi. Mario with Louise, Mario with Maria, etc. However at the end, you can either control the Bros or the Sisters and whoever you choose, the other team will be controlled by AIs.

LinkOH, AND THERE’S A MULTIPLAYER MODE TOO! Probably up to 4 players...I’m not sure yet.
Since the game is open world, each character has a health meter; 3 lives each. If one of the characters lose all of their lives, you can either switch partners or clear the level on your own. For example when playing as Maria and Louise, if Maria “dies,” you can swap her for one of the Bros. or you can clear the level on your own. Once you clear a level, the person who lost all of their lives’ health is restored. However, if everyone loses their lives, then it’ll result in a Game Over and the game will load from the last place you saved.

but i dont think nintendo would approve it because they arent accepting new characters to the mario franchise
Actually they're not accepting new characters from third party systems like from the Paper Mario games and stuff.
If Nintendo doesn't make this a game, I'm going to question their creativity.
What about collecting portal rays, each teleporting to a diff minigame? (as a for fun thing to collect)

Maybe you could collect like shards of a crystal that fits into the top of the portal, each crystal taking you to like a different world,level,etc...
